Mohawk Counsellor is recipient of OCC Leadership Award
Mohawk College Counsellor Heather Drummond is the recipient of the 2017 Ontario College Counsellors Leadership Award. Presented by Ontario College Counsellors (OCC-CCCO), the annual award recognizes outstanding contributions and leadership of counsellors working within the Ontario Community College system.
Heather has served the OCC-CCCO for many years. She has been Webmaster and Registrar and has served on the Executive for the organization. Heather is a strong advocate for upholding the integrity of professional counselling in the college system.
At Mohawk, Heather developed an e-Success Coaching tool for students. Heather received the award today at the Ontario College Counsellors Annual General Meeting in Ottawa.
