The 2:30 p.m. gift announcement in the iDeaWORKS research lab next to the Cummings Library will be Rob MacIsaac's last as president of Mohawk College. Rob's first gift announcement happened in the same location in the summer of 2009, as the college broke ground on the Mohawk Learning Exchange. The donation will support the Fennell Campus renewal project. Launched in the summer of 2009, more than 70,000 square feet of space has been constructed or renovated for students. By September, more than $80 million will have been invested in the campus.<br />

All students, faculty and staff are invited to a special ceremony at 10 a.m.  in the gymnasium at the new Athletic and Recreation Centre (enter next to the white tent in the parking lot). Senator Braley's gift will be recognized by Mohawk President Rob MacIsaac, Mohawk Foundation President Wayne Joudrie, Mohawk Students' Association President Ryan Chow and Mohawk varsity athlete of the year Megan Campbell. In recognition of the donation, Mohawk unveiled the BMO Financial Group Advisement Centre in The Square. Opened in July 2011 as part of the largest campus renewal project in Mohawk’s history, The Square offers services and supports to help students graduate to success.<br />
