The 2:30 p.m. gift announcement in the iDeaWORKS research lab next to the Cummings Library will be Rob MacIsaac's last as president of Mohawk College. Rob's first gift announcement happened in the same location in the summer of 2009, as the college broke ground on the Mohawk Learning Exchange. Mohawk Recreation Centre. </p><br />
<p>The bridge that will connect the new facility to the<br />
existing Student Centre (G-Wing) will be delivered partially constructed<br />
between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17. The bridge<br />
will be delivered by transport truck, which will enter the campus from the lights on Fennell<br />
Avenue. Access to this entrance will be limited as the truck makes its way into the parking lot. The west Fennell Avenue entrance near Alumni House will not be affected.</p><br />

<p>HAMILTON (April 10, 2012) – <a href="http://www.ussteelcanada.com/ussca/" target="_blank" title="U. S. Steel Canada website">U. S. Steel Canada</a> is donating $500,000 to improve the quality of education and overall college experience for students at Mohawk’s largest campus.</p><br />
<p>The donation to the Fennell Campus Renewal Project will be recognized by Mohawk with the naming of the U. S. Steel Canada Centre at The Square. As part of the ongoing Fennell Campus Renewal Project, The Square consolidated student services previously offered at 17 locations across the campus.</p><br />
<p>The dedication ceremony and reception will be held on Tuesday, April 10 at 3 p.m. in the&#160; U. S. Steel Canada Centre at the Fennell Campus.</p><br />

<li>Since 1999, U. S. Steel Canada has provided 1,200 co-op work terms to Mohawk students.</li><br />
<li>32 U. S. Steel Canada employees are retraining at Mohawk, enrolled Power Engineering Techniques – Program 482 – One Year College Certificate program.</li><br />
