Kate won over thousands of applicants for the $40,000-a-year job that will see her take 12 trips around the world in 2011. Kate is off to Mexico's Pacific Coast for her first adventure. In 2009, Mohawk Broadcasting -- Television and Communications Media student Shane Cunningham won a national competition to become an MTV S-Trip World Intern.

  • Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. infront of the McIntyre Theatre at the Fennell Campus, and

  • Wednesday, Dec. 8 during the MSA's Ugly Christmas Sweater Pub in the Arnie.


By making a donation to the United Way, students and staff can put on Santa hats and reindeer ears, have their photos uploaded to Facebook and then enjoy cookies and candy canes.Reindeer ears


Mohawk has set a $65,000 fundraising goal to support the United Way and its 75 member agencies, through payroll deduction, community events and fundraisers organized by students and staff.
