Mohawk College's Louisa Drost, Director of Counselling, Accessible Learning and Health Services, and Dr. Heather Drummond, a psychologist with Counselling Services, talked with CHML 900 host Scott Thompson about how mental health supports for students.

Emily Ecker, Mohawk's manager of Community Access, and Eva Rothwell Resource Centre executive director Michelle Gellatly, were on CHML 900 talking with Scott Thompson about City School by Mohawk. The North Hamilton community centre is home to Mohawk's first City School by Mohawk as part of the college's ongoing access strategy. Mohawk is looking to open City Schools in six priority neighbourhoods over the next three years to make a college education more accessible to more Hamiltonians. Mohawk will offer workshops, courses and services for youth and adults in consultation with neighbours.

CHML 900 host Scott Thompson interviewed Mohawk's Marilyn Micucci and Ivana Letko on Mohawk's Mo' Money Resource Centre. The centre helps educate and support students to become more confident with their finances. The interview is part of CHML 900's Education 101 series presented by Walters Group.
