To participate, take the Smart Commute Week Challenge, a week-long campaign that encompasses the spirit of International Car Free Day on September 22. Smart Commute Week encourages commuters to try a sustainable mode of transportation such as carpooling, public transit, walking, cycling and teleworking, and rewards those who already do.


Take the Smart Commute Week Challenge in 3 Easy Steps:


1.     Register for your free Smart Commute account ( https://www.carpoolzone.smartcommute.ca/en/my/index.php ), or link to your existing Carpool Zone account.


2.     Smart Commute to work during the week of September 19 to September 25.


3.     Log your commute using the Trip Diary Tab in Carpool Zone. Your trip diary is your contest entry!
