13 Mountaineers named CCAA Academic All-Canadians
Mohawk ties for second-most athletes on the national list
Thirteen Mohawk Mountaineers student-athletes were named 2021-22 Academic All-Canadian athletes by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).
CCAA recently released its list of 229 student athletes from across Canada who have received this recognition for achieving combined excellence in collegiate athletics and academics. The CCAA Academic All-Canadian award, presented by Brandnew Athlete, is the CCAA’s most prestigious student-athlete honour, epitomizing a commitment to academic success and athletic achievement.
Humber College, with a larger roster of varsity sports, had the most student-athletes listed this year, with 15 All-Canadians. Mohawk ranked second overall in the country, along with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, with their 13 Academic All-Canadians.
As part of the partnership, CCAA Academic All-Canadians receive complimentary access to the Brandnew Elite Athlete Transformation Program (https://brandnewathlete.com/).
