43 Mountaineers Receive 2022-23 OCAA All-Academic Honours

Forty-three Mohawk Mountaineers student-athletes were recipients of the 2022-23 All-Academic award by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA).

The OCAA All-Academic awards are presented to full-time varsity student-athletes that meet honours standards at their respective institutions, having successfully completed one academic semester. Student-athletes receive an OCAA All-Academic certificate for achieving honours status in the semester in which they are a varsity athlete.

For the 2022-23 varsity season, OCAA recognized 965 student-athletes for their achievements in the classroom.

Mohawk ranked eighth for most student-athletes recognized out of 25 institutions in Ontario.

In May, the Mountaineers also had 14 student-athletes named 2022-23 Academic All-Canadians by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).
