Advisory: BMO Financial Group to announce donation to Mohawk College

HAMILTON (May 22, 2013) BMO Financial Group will announce a major donation to Mohawk College on Thursday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at the Fennell Campus.

BMO Financial Group Vice President Hamilton District Rick Jaques and Shawn Namvar, BMO Area Manager, Personal Banking Niagara Region will announce the donation in The Square and will be joined by Mohawk College President Rob MacIsaac, Mohawk College Foundation President Wayne Joudrie and Mohawk Students’ Association Vice President Adrian Anderson.

Mohawk launched its largest ever campus renewal project in 2010 to give students more places and better spaces to learn, collaborate and create. The project has included the Cummings Library and Collaboratory and The Square for student services. Construction is currently underway on a new 64,000 square foot athletics and recreation centre and a new home for Mohawk’s Justice and Wellness programs.
