Media Studies alumnus Lyla Miklos , host and producer of Centre Stage on INDI 101.5, recognized along with international icons

The Hamilton location of The Well chain of bars recently revealed a “Well Noted” Wall of Fame, with over 30 musicians, artists, playwrights, drag performers, activists and LGBTQ community members who played important roles in changing legislation around gay rights. "Well Noted" celebrates some well-known and loved Canadian LGBTQ icons, like actor Elliot Page and musician k.d. lang, Also included on the Hamilton "Well Noted" Wall is Mohawk College Alumnus of Distinction Lyla Miklos, an award-winning queer feminist labour activist, broadcast journalist, community organizer, education worker, publicist, vocalist and writer. Lyla is the Host and Producer of Centre Stage on Mohawk College's INDI 101.5 FM radio station.
