About 70 college and university students are at Mohawk's Fennell Campus today and tomorrow for Apps for Health 2011. The highlight of the conference will take place tomorrow afternoon as the students compete for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes. Organized into teams, the students will pitch their mobile health (m-health) and electronic health (e-health) solutions to real-world challenges put forward by organizations such as Hamilton Health Sciences, McMaster Children’s Hospital, Sick Kids, Leave the Pack Behind and Canadian Medical Assistance Teams.
