Emily Ecker, Mohawk's manager of Community Access, and Eva Rothwell Resource Centre executive director Michelle Gellatly, were on CHML 900 talking with Scott Thompson about City School by Mohawk. The North Hamilton community centre is home to Mohawk's first City School by Mohawk as part of the college's ongoing access strategy. Mohawk is looking to open City Schools in six priority neighbourhoods over the next three years to make a college education more accessible to more Hamiltonians. Mohawk will offer workshops, courses and services for youth and adults in consultation with neighbours.
