How to not get scammed - Mohawk College students help seniors avoid frauds
In 2020, Hamilton seniors were defrauded out of almost $350,000, according to a Hamilton Police report. Student volunteers with the Campus to Community program recently visited seniors at Compass Community Health to help them avoid becoming victims of these crimes.
