Mohawk College’s Director of Security Services, Cathy O’Donnell has been appointed President of the Ontario Association of College and University Security Administrators (OACUSA).

“It is my pleasure to be selected to be the leader of this association,” said Cathy. “I look forward to working with the OACUSA team to continue building the strong foundation that is based on the strength of our relationships and the expertise that exists within the association.”

OACUSA is the voice and trusted advisor for the post-secondary public safety profession in Ontario.  This is completed through engagement, advocacy, partnerships, and professional standards.  Members meet regularly to discuss common interests and concerns, proactively promote community awareness and involvement in making Ontario college and university campuses safe and secure, and to review legislation and regulatory developments that affect safety and security on campus.
