CBC Hamilton hosting community Town Hall at Mohawk College April 23: Do Unions Still Matter?
CBC Hamilton presents Labour Pains: Do Unions Still Matter? on April 23 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the McIntyre Performing Arts Centre at Mohawk's Fennell Campus. The free town hall and live webcast will be hosted by Brent Bambury of CBC Radio's Day 6 with panelists:
- Lisa Hammond, President of the Hamilton Wentworth Elementary Teachers Local (ETFO)
- John Mortimer, President of Canadian LabourWatch Association
- Wayne Lewchuk, Professor of Labour Studies & Economics at McMaster University
- Pablo Godoy, National Representative of the Canadian Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) and VP of Workers of Colour with the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL)
