Congratulations Chris VanSickle (OCAA Male Athlete of the Week)

Mohawk rugby ace Chris VanSickle has been named the Encrypt Stick Ontario Colleges  Athletic Association Male Athlete of the Week for the period ending September 19. Chris, a second year centre from Brantford had two tries and added five conversions for a total of 20 points in the Mountaineers’ 45-10 romp over Trent Excalibur in their opening game at Peterborough, Sept. 18. Mohawk, the reigning OCAA Division 1 rugby champions, has our home opener Saturday, Sept. 25 against Humber at Mohawk Sports Park with a 2 p.m. kick off.
