Mohawk Marketing student and bass player Tyler Howie (right) and his Weekend Riot Club bandmates finished second and won a recording session during last Saturday's Rising Stars Competition. The competition for young emerging talent took place at Mohawk as part of the Hamilton Music Awards. Weekend Riot Club (Tyler on bass, Melissa Marchese - Vocals, Mike Chetcuti - Guitars and Joe Gonzales - Drums) opens for Glen Matlock of The Sex Pistols on Dec. 7 at The Casbah.
