“We are excited to partner with Mohawk College, offering opportunities for students, co-op students and recent graduates of the Insurance program.Currently, we are hiring students that will work full-time this summer and then continue part-time when they return to school in September. They will complete our training program which includes licensing, products and systems training, building the skills to deliver a great client experience, and then the opportunityto work in the company’s LIVE program where they will speak with clients while being supported by our training team,” says Marianne Morton, Manager of the Client Care Centre. The initiative has been very successful, and this year several students were offered and accepted full-time positions with Desjardins!

Desjardins also participate in job fairs at Mohawk and speak to graduating classes. “We are impressed with the quality of candidates from Mohawk College, and it is our hope that co-op students will also choose to work with Desjardins on a full-time basis upon graduation. We look forward to continuing thisvaluable partnership in the years to come.”
