Mohawk Music students will be the opening act for the Thursday, April 25 concert by blues great Jimmie Vaughan and the Tilt-a-Whirl Band with Lou Ann Barton in the McIntyre Performing Arts Centre at the Fennell Campus. The students are part of Bump City, a 15-piece funk tribute band that plays the music of Tower of Power. Doors open at 7 p.m. with Bump City (@itsbumpcity) taking the stage at 8 p.m. Tickets for the fundraising concert are available online and will be sold at the door (promo code steel1 for a student discount).
