E- Waste Drive this Wednesday in the Student Centre

Capture_e-waste driveStudents and Staff: Do you have old or broken electronics and aren’t sure what to do with them?

In partnership with MIDA RPM and Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES), the Mohawk College Sustainability Office is pleased to host an Electronic Waste Recycling Drive at Fennell Campus on Wednesday, November 30th in the Student Centre.

Bring in your unwanted or broken devices and we’ll ensure that they are properly disposed of in a way that is safe for the environment, and convenient for you. Everyone that participates in the recycling drive by bringing in a piece of electronic waste will receive a voucher for a free coffee from Brewed Awakenings, in the Student Centre.

Visit the booth on November 30th for a great opportunity to take part in one of Mohawk’s many sustainable initiatives or to learn more about the process of recycling Electronics and the recovery of Precious Metals.
