Mohawk College's Sustainability Office encourages you to celebrate Earth Hour this Saturday, March 31, at 8:30 p.m. by switching off the lights in your home and/or taking part in a local Earth Hour event.

MOHAWK PHOTO CONTEST
All students, staff, and faculty at Mohawk College are invited to participate in an Earth Hour Photo Contest.
The rules are simple. Send us a picture with a brief description of you participating in an Earth Hour event, and be entered for a chance to win an Eco-friendly gift basket from the Sustainability Office. The basket includes a reusable water bottle, coffee/tea travel mug, and a gardening start-up kit.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
- Candlelight dinner
- Go outside for a walk, bike ride, etc.
- Star-gazing
- A candlelight gathering
- Local event: Movie night & Candlelit discussion (St. Paul's United Church, 29 Park St. W, Dundas. Doors open at 6:30pm)
- Do anything that doesn’t use electricity.
