Family tours the new Gerald Marshall Centre for Transportation

(From left) Cindy Butler, Linda and Rick Marshall, Brenda and Wayne Marshall toured the new Gerald Marshall Centre for Transportation at the Mohawk STARRT Institute. The Marshall family and Marshall Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd have donated and raised more than $1.7 million for the Centre that will be named in memory of their late father. The Gerald Marshall Centre for Transportation will train between 380 and 420 apprentices annually in 3 programs -- Truck and Coach Apprentice, Truck and Trailer Apprentice and Pre-Apprentice Truck and Coach. The second storey will feature classrooms looking down on the first floor trailer bays.

The Gerald Marshall Centre for Transportation is scheduled to open in January 2010.
