The Hamilton Spectator has this story about City School by Mohawk. On Friday morning, Mohawk College officially opens its first City School at the Eva Rothwell Resource Centre at Robert Land in North Hamilton. City School will deliver tuition-free courses, lectures, workshops and mentorship programs to youth, adults and seniors from a renovated classroom in the former Robert Land elementary school. Mohawk plans to run City Schools in six priority neighbourhoods over the next three years to make a college education accessible to all Hamiltonians.
