Honours for Mohawk College Broadcasting Television students
Third year Broadcasting Television student Brandon DiLuca and his production team will receive the Broadcast Educator Award for Best Drama on May 23 at the Broadcast Educators Association of Canada's National Awards Gala at Niagara College.The BEAC National Student Awards Program recognizes and rewards the unique combination of creativity and technical excellence demonstrated by students in radio, television/video, and new media taught in the BEAC member institutions.
Second year Broadcasting Television student Casey Griggs has been awarded a $1,000 Cable Cares Scholarship, sponsored by Cable 14. Casey is also the recipient of a $10,000 Shaw Media Internship for Students with Disabilities. Casey is one of five students from across Canada to receive the Shaw Media internship.
