June is National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day is this weekend.

A recent article in The Hamilton Spectator highlighted initiatives going on throughout the region to help people learn about Indigenous history, art and culture through virtual events, such as readings, concerts, workshops and film screenings. The social media campaign initiated by the Indigenous Education & Student Services Centre at Mohawk College was featured in the coverage.
