In the news: Climate charter to change Hamilton

Climate Change Charter_Bob CarringtonThe Hamilton Spectator has this story about Ontario's first Climate Change Action Charter that was created by a coalition of environmental groups, businesses, and public sector institutions including Mohawk College and McMaster Universtiy. Signing the voluntary charter means organizations and individuals acknowledge the need for action on climate change and commit to taking steps to address it, including establishing baseline measurements, setting targets to reduce emissions and reporting progress annually. Mohawk's Senior Vice President, Corporate Services, Bob Carrington attended the unveiling of the charter at an event held at Liuna Station this morning.
