In the news: Hamilton steelmaker eyes talent for future workforce

The Hamilton Spectator has this story about a new specialist high skills major program in advanced manufacturing launched by ArcelorMittal Dofasco, Mohawk College and the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board. High school students in Grades 10, 11 and 12 will get hands-on learning throughout the year at ArcelorMittal Dofasco and Mohawk. Graduates from the program will receive a Specialist High Skills Major Red Seal from the Ontario Ministry of Education on their high school diplomas and their high school transcripts will include their high skills major designation and a summary of their high skills major certifications and courses
