In the news: In memory of William (student toy drive for Children's Hospital)

The Hamilton Spectator has this story about Mohawk student Melissa Blackmore who is organizing a toy drove in memory of her son William. William was two years old when he died of cancer in September 2008 at the McMaster Children's Hospital. Melissa returned to Mohawk as a student in the Medical Office Administration program and is collecting toys for children who must spend their holidays at the hospital. "I know what it's like to be the person on the other side. I'm doing this for him," Melissa told The Hamilton Spectator. Unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Student Life office at the Fennell Campus (room F111).
