In the news: Mohawk Advertising students help bring bookstore to life

A dozen students from Mohawk's Advertising program volunteered to help create The Joy of Books, a stop-motion animation video for Type Books in Toronto. The second-year students worked with Sean Ohlenkamp, an associate creative director at Lowe Roche advertising agency, on the pro bono project. The video, which shows books coming to life once the store closes, was shot over four nights in November at the store from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. The video has gone viral and been featured on CTV and in The Atlantic, Quill & Quire and The Hamilton Spectator.
