In the news: Mohawk College and Industry Education Council of Hamilton offer new training program

The Hamilton Spectator has this story about The Entry Level Advantage to Employment (ELATE) program, a new partnership between Mohawk College and the Industry Education Council of Hamilton. Supported by a $250,000 grant from the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure, the 32-week training program is for young people between 18 and 20 years of age who want to work in manufacturing yet face financial or academic barriers. April 10 is the deadline for the second class of up to 24 students.
