A team of seven students from Mohawk's Broadcasting program 

With the popularity of live action superhero movies growing exponentially in the last 10 years, super fans themselves thought that they would dive deeper into the reasons why.

A team of seven from Mohawk College’s broadcasting program, with a focus in television and communications media, have created a documentary titled Superfan.

The team was given six weeks to write, shoot and produce a five- to 10-minute short film. The project is the culmination of their three-year diploma program.

This particular film explores the rising popularity of the superhero film genre.
