In the news: Mohawk picked to be 3D printing test site

YourHamiltonBiz.com has this story about Mohawk receiving a $720,760 Canada Foundation for Innovation College Industry Innovation Fund Award to help establish a test site for 3D printing at the college's Fennell Campus. Mohawk's Centre for Rapid Prototyping and Additive Manufacturing, to open early next year, will feature a pair of 3D printers capable of turning computer images into metal and plastic parts. Students, faculty and staff will work with industry partners to test the technology.
