In the news: Mohawk student produces educational video about the hijab

The Hamilton Spectator has this story about Mohawk student Yasmeen Al-Gailani who helped produce a video about the wearing of the hijab, the traditional Muslim head covering for women. Originally from Iraq, Yasmeen moved to Hamilton from Jordan seven months ago. The video was produced as part of Mohawk's LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers) Program offered free at Mohawk's Fennell Campus. Check out more about the video project on YouTube.
