In the news: Mohawk students green Children's Safety Village

The Brantford Expositor has this story about a team of Mohawk Electrontechnology students with professor Larry Petkov who worked weekends through the Fall and Winter to install solar panels at the Children's Safety Village. The panels power a fleet of 40 miniature jeeps that children drive through the village. Larry was approached by Brantford Power to take on the project. Energy not used to charge the jeeps can be diverted for heating and lighting.
