The Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario has published this article on a study done by researchers at Mohawk College and Education Policy Research Initiative. The study looked at how effective early interventions were at enhancing student motivation and improving retention rates. The Mohawk authors included Vice President Student and Alumni Services Dr. Wayne Poirier, Dean of Students Tim Fricker, and Research and Project Supervisor Megan Pratt.
