In the news: New research shows which degrees lead to high-paying jobs

Maclean's Magazine has this story from the 2016 Canadian Universities Guidebook on a University of Ottawa research project that could show prospective students which college or university programs will lead to great jobs after graduation. The research is being done by Ross Finnie, a professor in the graduate school of public and international affairs at the University of Ottawa. Finnie's work includes data from Mohawk where predictive models are being used to identify students who may need extra help in their studies. Mohawk's Vice President Student Services, Wayne Poirier, is quoted in the article.
