In the news: Rosemary Knechtel looks back on 39 years with Mohawk College

A few key dates as the school year fast approaches.

• Sept. 5-6: Move-in day at Mohawk's Student Residence


• Sept. 7: Festival @ Fennell from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (part of new student orientation)


• Sept. 8: First day of classes. Festival @ Fennell from noon to 6 p.m. First student pub night at the Arnie.


• Sept. 12: Free outdoor 3D movie at the Fennell Campus, glasses on at 8:30 p.m.


• Sept. 15: MoStock outdoor concert at the Fennell Campus starting at 11 a.m. Mohawk President Rob MacIsaac and his band Slow Monday to share the stage with a great Canadian band.
