The Hamilton Spectator has this story about the Mohawk Mountaineers' men's basketball team is competing in the 2011-12 Canadian Colleges Athletics Association Tournament in Nova Scotia. Mohawk plays its first game Thursday again the Vanier Cheetahs of Montreal.  “We’re playing great basketball," says coach Brian Jonkers. "We have the necessary pieces. We’ve got solid guard play … probably the best backcourt in the country. With good size, we also have quality frontcourt play. Many people don’t have as much size as we have.”
