TVO's The Agenda explores how some Ontario schools are removing barriers to education. The episode, which are aired on April 12, 2018, featured a profile of City School by Mohawk, a unique program aimed at putting a postsecondary education within reach of more people in the community. Mohawk's Dean for Community Partnerships and Experiential Learning, Jim Vanderveken joined The Agenda's Nam Kiwanuka and fellow panelists Sue Gillespie, Chief Executive Officer of Pathways to Education; Coty Zachariah, National Chair of the Canadian Federation of Students; and Fiona Deller with the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario to talk about what Mohawk and others are doing to improve access to education in the province.
