Installation ceremony April 9

Rob MacIsaac - AR08_photo_select[1] Everyone is invited to be a part of the Installation Ceremony of Rob MacIsaac as the 7th President of Mohawk College. The ceremony takes place on Thursday, April 9 beginning at 1 p.m. in the McIntyre Theatre at Mohawk's Fennell Campus. Government, education and college partners will bring official greetings during the ceremony and Rob will deliver an installation address. Everyone is also invited to a reception following the ceremony in the North Cafeteria being hosted by the Board of Governors. Free parking will be available next to the College's front entrance. Also, a limited block of tickets is available to catch Rob and his band Slow Monday, perform live on stage at Installation Tour 2009. Joining Slow Monday will be the Mohawk Faculty and Alumni Jazz Band and Banned From Heaven. Tickets to the April 9 show at the Fennell Campus' Arnold Centre will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be ordered by emailing to special.events@mohawkcollege.ca. Doors will open at 9 p.m. While the concert's free, donations will be gratefully accepted to support new Mohawk Cares Awards for incoming students with unlimited potential yet limited financial means.
