Irwin Tools donates $10,000 in tools to Mohawk College on CH Morning Live!

Mohawk College wants to give a huge shout out to everyone at Irwin Tools. On today's CH Morning Live television show, Irwin presented Mohawk with $10,000 donation of tools to support trades education at the college.

Accepting the donation on Mohawk's behalf was Brad MacDonald, coordinator of the college's Building & Renovation Program in the Faculty of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeships. Brad and a student from the Building and Renovation Program used the on-air segment to highlight the tools every homeowner should have on hand and to emphasize why it's important to know when to call a pro to do a job.

Irwin's donation includes handsaws that will be used by students in Brad's program.
