Mohawk welcomes Gina Funicelli to the role of Dean of Applied Research starting May 15, 2017.

Gina has been immersed in roles in industry, the public sector and academia throughout her career and most recently was Dean, Applied Research and Innovation at Lethbridge College in Alberta.She brings strong skills and experience in creating and empowering teams that are highly successful in solving complex problems creatively and balancing innovative “out-of-the-box” thinking with pragmatism. Her entrepreneurial spirit, mentoring skills and motivational attributes along with her dedication to education and students align superbly with our college’s values, strategic themes and priorities.
