Mohawk a founding partner of national coalition for low-carbon construction workforce

IDEAWORKS Research Chair in Sustainability Dr. Tony Cupido to serve on advisory board for WORKFORCE 2030

Mohawk College has been recognized as a founding partner of Workforce 2030, a national coalition dedicated to helping the construction workforce build new skills, recruit new talent and innovate workplace processes for a more prosperous Ontario.

The Workforce 2030 initiative was announced today by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), bringing together a broad, cross-sectoral coalition of employers, educators, and workers in the building sector in an unprecedented collaboration to fast-track workforce development.

IDEAWORKS Research Chair in Sustainability, Dr. Tony Cupido will be serving on the advisory board, working to impact government policy, business practice and education in support of low-carbon workforce development. Dr. Cupido also serves on the Board of Directors for the CaGBC.
