Mohawk alumni at Mayor's Lunch

Hamilton Mayor and Mohawk alumnus Fred Eisenberger (pictured left) hosted his first Partners for Prosperity luncheon series yesterday. 

Keynote speaker Dr. Jennifer Jackman, Director General of the CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory, showcased the work of Mohawk alumnus Peter Newcombe and the team who cast the new Canadian Victoria Cross Medal. Peter received a 2008 Alumni of Distinction Award from Mohawk for his career achievements and community contributions. 

And Mohawk alumnus Sarah Moir provided the centrepieces at yesterday's event. Sarah's launched Crazy Daisy, a social enterprise with a mission of raising awareness about mental health issues. More details soon about Mohawk's partnership with Sarah and her floral design business.
