Mohawk at HealthAchieve Conference

Mohawk College mHealth and eHealth Digital Innovation Centre (MEDIC) attended HealthAchieve on Monday November 6^th, 2017 and Tuesday November 7^th, 2017 in Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. HealthAchieve is an annual conference aimed to change the evolution of health care systems. Mohawk College shared a booth with the City of Hamilton and McMaster University. Mohawk College displayed the OpenIZ platform, general information and the MEDIC vision.

Mohawk College also contributed to the Intelligent Health Pavilion, a 10,000 square foot space on the exhibit floor. Over 20 speakers, start-ups, existing companies and volunteers that were affiliated or have previously worked with Mohawk College were gathered for this opportunity. These included partners such as eHealth Ontario, mHealth Solutions, Hamilton Health Sciences and student interns of MEDIC.

In the Intelligent Health Pavilion, Mohawk College also had a booth where they showcased the population simulator tool, a project that is in progress with eHealth Ontario. Mohawk participated in a panel session with other leaders in healthcare. Overall, Mohawk College left an excellent impression at HealthAchieve.
