Mohawk College celebrates 2024 Alumni of Distinction recipients

Mohawk College announced today the 2024 Alumni of Distinction recipients, honouring 10 outstanding graduates who have made a remarkable impact in their careers and community contributions, providing an exceptional source of inspiration for future generations.

“These remarkable alumni have applied their college training in amazing and transformational ways. They have made a positive impact in their industries and communities, and they have made life better for us all,” said Mohawk College President and CEO Ron J. McKerlie. “We are proud of the role their Mohawk College education and experience has played in nurturing the skills and talents that started them on their flourishing careers.”

• Rob Darling ’02 - Founder & CEO, runQL.com (Entrepreneur category)
• Jason Herd ’05 - CEO and Founder, Tradetraks Inc. (Apprenticeship category)
• Amanda White ’08, ’09, ’11 - Director, Centre for Indigenous Relations, Knowledge, and Learning (CIRKL) Part-Time Faculty, Indigenous Studies Courses (Mohawk College Employee category)

Since 1996, the Alumni of Distinction Awards have proudly recognized deserving Mohawk graduates. All of the nominees are individuals who set the standard of excellence for which Mohawk College is recognized and they are a source of inspiration for future generations.
