Mohawk College Continuing Education Celebrates 10 Years of First Aid and CPR Training with the Canadian Red Cross
Mohawk College’s Continuing Education (CE) department is proud to celebrate a 10-year milestone delivering First Aid and CPR training in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, one of Canada’s most trusted leaders in emergency response education.
As a long-standing Training Partner of the Canadian Red Cross, Mohawk College brings nationally recognized First Aid and CPR training to our community through hands-on instruction. Delivered by certified instructors and aligned with Canadian Red Cross standards, these courses serve Mohawk College students, employees, and external partners, preparing participants to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies.
Standard First Aid certification is a prerequisite for many College entry programs, including Medical Radiation Sciences, Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, OTA/PTA, Personal Support Worker, Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, Firefighter programs, and more. Beyond academic requirements, these courses support a wide range of learner needs—from workplace health and safety compliance to babysitter training.
Mohawk College Continuing Education is proud to be part of the Marinucci Family Centre for Professional Advancement, expanding opportunities for professional advancement and lifelong learning. Together, Mohawk College and the Canadian Red Cross empower individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to respond effectively at school, at work, and in their communities.
