Mohawk College Foundation welcomes new board member Carmela Trombetta

The Mohawk College Foundation welcomes Carmela Trombetta its board of directors. 

“The Foundation Board is a talented and visionary team that is committed to the success of our college and students," said Ron J. McKerlie, President of the Mohawk College Foundation and President and CEO of Mohawk College. "I am excited to welcome Carmela to the Board, and I thank her for choosing to be a part of our college.” 

From retail banking, to wealth management and commercial banking, Carmela has held various roles with the Royal Bank of Canada for the past 30 years and is proud to lead a team of financial services professionals focused on helping businesses succeed and grow in the Greater Hamilton Market. 
 

Born and raised in Hamilton, Carmela is passionate about her community’s growth and prosperity. 
 

Carmela believes that for Canada to be prosperous its young people must thrive, and supporting the education and development of youth is a priority. 

“As a proud, lifelong Hamiltonian, I am inspired by the work of Mohawk College," said Trombetta. "I am honoured  to be joining the Board of Directors, and look forward to supporting the college’s commitment to helping young people build the confidence, capabilities and inspiration to re-imagine our future.”
