Mohawk College hosting two major community fundraisers this weekend

Mohawk College welcomes The Ride to Conquer Cancer and Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion  to the Fennell Campus this weekend. Thousands of cyclists in The Ride to Conquer Cancer are expected to camp outdoors at the campus Saturday night as they make their way from downtown Toronto to Niagara Falls in a fundraiser for cancer research. On Sunday, dozens of teams will compete in wheelchair relay races in the local Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion fundraiser to support spinal cord research. Mohawk grad Anthony Frisina is an ambassador for the event and President Rob MacIsaac is honorary co-chair together with Hamilton Mayor Fred Eisenberger.
