Mohawk College in talks with Six Nations Polytechnic about potential transfer of Elgin Street Campus

Mohawk College and Six Nations Polytechnic are currently in negotiations for the potential transfer of the now vacant Elgin Street campus in Brantford. Six Nations Polytechnic would transform the campus into a regional hub for indigenous education and expanded programs and services. Negotiations began this summer and programs could be offered in 2014. Mohawk, which continues to offer programs in downtown Brantford, repatriated the remainder of its programs from the Elgin Street Campus to the Fennell Campus in Hamilton this summer. Mohawk and Six Nations Polytechnic have delivered a collaborative practical nursing program since 2006,
